'Let it Be' at The Cavern: In photographs

It has been nearly two months since the magnificent 'Let it Be' graced the stage at the Liverpool Empire Theatre back in April. We look back at the press event that took place on March 7th 2014, and relive the day that Beatlemania returned.

    IN PERFORMANCE

Audiences at the Cavern Club that day were treated to songs including 'I saw her standing there', 'Twist and Shout' and one of my favourites, 'All my loving'. With everyone up on their feet (myself included), it may have been 2014 outside but in the club it was like being transported to the 1960's...and it was brilliant.

    POST-PERFORMANCE

After the phenomenal performance that the band gave, the audience were eager to catch a photograph of the 'Fab Four'.

    In Conversation

After the thrill of seeing the band perform, we were lucky enough to chat with them in The Cavern Lounge. Friendly, witty and lovely, it was like actually talking to the Beatles themselves! After such an enjoyable interview we simply couldn't wait until 'Let it Be' was at the Liverpool Empire Theatre and the show was certainly worth the wait.
