Sound City 2016 announces more incredible artists!

With less than four weeks to go until Liverpool Sound City 2016, even more new acts have been added to this year’s incredible line-up!

Promising an Indie folk finale, Eliza and the Bear look will captivate audiences as they headline the SESAC showcase on Sunday 29th May. If that wasn’t enough, Mailchimp Record Store (presented by Dig Vinyl) has unveiled more artists including Lifafa, Slow Dancer and Cherie & Renno! Alongside White, Elle Exxe, The Wholls and Violet Skies, there’s more artists than ever before at Sound City 2016!

Dave Pichilingi said: “We are tremendously excited about this year’s festival. We worked incredibly hard on the site to transform it into a truly jaw-dropping setting and the line-up has to be the best we’ve ever booked with all our headline acts at the top of their games - Catfish and the Bottlemen are smashing it with upcoming album, The Ride, The Coral are getting rave reviews for Distance In-between and have a new single out the day before Sound City starts and Band of Skulls release By Default the day before they play our main stage. It doesn’t get more current than that”.

With a headline performance from Libertines frontman Pete Doherty on the North Stage, in addition to talks from Alexei Sayle and Circa Waves on the ‘In Conversation’ stage, Sound City 2016 looks set to be one of the festival highlights of the year.

Sound City 2016 takes place on 28th and 29th May 2016 at Liverpool Waters, Bramley-Moore Dock.
