With just one week left until Rewind North 2017, this year’s festival is one of the most highly anticipated of the Summer!

Featuring an incredible line-up including Level 42, Belinda Carlise, British Electric Foundation and more, get ready to sing and dance the weekend away.

Joining the Rewind North 2017 line-up is the amazing Toyah, who is sure to have the crowd cheering for more.

Describing her set as “loud and fun”, Toyah is no stranger to Rewind Festivals:

“I’ve been playing the Rewind Festivals for eight years. It’s great because you have an audience who were there the first time around and want to hear all the hits, and then you have an audience who have just discovered your music and want to hear all the hits too. It’s lovely to see the community that music creates”

Rewind North 2017 also sees performances from artists new to the festivals, such as the brilliant Tom Robinson.

Forty years since the release of the iconic ‘2-4-6-8 Motorway’, Tom recalls how the song didn’t originally sound as we know it today:

“Originally ‘2-4-6-8 motorway’ was a country song, yet after seven months of gigging we got the song and our set so tight, that even EMI [Records] couldn’t get into the door of the pubs we were playing in, because there were so many people in there watching us!”

With hits including ‘War baby’, ‘Glad to be gay’ and ‘2-4-6-8 Motorway’, Tom’s set is one of the many highlights of this year’s festival.

Rewind Festival North is at Capesthorne Hall, Cheshire from Friday 4th August - Sunday 6th August 2017.
